Education Outreach Programs
Each year the Westchester Philharmonic offers schools from all over Westchester County an opportunity to participate in two exciting program geared towards elementary school aged children. Our education programs provides the opportunity to hear, see, and enjoy live music while offering teachers the unique experience of using music as a springboard for learning and collaborating with teaching artists in the classroom.

Every year, the Westchester Philharmonic invites elementary school students in grades 3-6 to experience a professional symphony orchestra in a real concert hall. Working from the podium, conductor Rachael Worby introduces the instrument families of the orchestra, musical elements of tempo and dynamics, melody and harmony, and key aspects of compositional form.
The 2020 concert will take place on Tuesday, April 21 at 10:30am at the Purchase Performing Arts Center.
