Biography:

 

New York City Bassist Jack Wenger is a native of Norwalk, CT. He began his bass studies with Wyatt Bennett, then continued with Robert Olsen and Orin O’Brien. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in performance from Manhattan School of Music. Currently he is a member of the Westchester Philharmonic, American Ballet Theatre, American Symphony, Opera Orchestra of New York, and frequently substitutes with the Metropolitan Opera, New York Pops, and New Jersey Symphony, among others. He was a member of Puerto Rico Symphony under the direction of Sidney Harth and has performed on Broadway for many years as well.
