The Big Bang

Westchester Philharmonic's Award-Winning
Education Program for Grades Pre K-5

The Big Bang introduces young listeners to the limitless world of percussion by making music on anything you can strike, shake, or scrape. This interactive program explores rhythm and sound through performances on percussion instruments from the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and South America, as well as everyday objects. Students have the opportunity to use both instruments and their own bodies to take part in the music making.
