Barbara Long, Violin

Barbara Long, violinist, was a scholarship student of the Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music, earning a Diploma, BM, and MM degrees. She also studied in Europe as the recipient of a Fulbright grant.

In the Tri-state area, her long-time membership with orchestras includes the Westchester Philharmonic, New York Chamber Symphony, Mostly Mozart Orchestra, New York Pops, Little Orchestra Society, Colonial Symphony, and Westfield Symphony. US State Department tours have taken Ms. Long through many countries of Europe and the Far East with groups such as the Lyrica Quartet of Jose Limon's Dance Company, and the Shaw Chorale. She was concertmaster of the Knickerbocker Players with pianist Eugene List on several extensive US tours.
